Plot SummaryEdit

XBomberCrewpatch Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Unable to sleep and with tensions high, Shiro, Hercules and Lee argue with Dr. Benn over the best course of action, wishing to search for her planet by planet. Dr. Benn supersedes them, arguing this would only take them farther away from their goal, and they can only wait for news from Captain Halley. As Dr. Benn goes to rest, X-Bomber veers hard to the side; someone is tampering with the controls, Dr. Benn deducing it must be Kirara. As they go to the bridge, they find Kirara having another fit and P.P.A. begging for help. Hercules once again has to tranquilize Kirara.

Back on the Imperial Planet, the Imperial Master dispatches Commander Makara and Captain Orion to the Callusian Star Cluster to decimate the Planet Callinean. Lamia, trapped in the Ice Prison, struggles to contact Captain Halley telepathically. Meanwhile, still wishing to do something, the pilots suggest searching for Lamia in the Dai-X fighters to cover a wider area.

Lamia is finally able to tell Halley that she is imprisoned in Glacial Planet in the Allurian star cluster. Halley contacts X-Bomber, reporting that he has heard from Lamia and has traced her to the glacial planet, the rest is now up to X-Bomber. However, Makara's ship has spotted X-Bomber moving on the prison planet and has changed course to intercept.

As X-Bomber nears the Allurian Star Cluster, Kirara awakens, calmed knowing that Lamia is near. X-Bomber remains in orbit around the Glacial Planet while the pilots fly the Dai-X fighters to the surface to rescue Lamia.

All seems peaceful as they overfly the surface, but the Dai-X fighters are soon under fire from ground-to-air missile batteries. X-Bomber detects Makara's Battlecruiser approaching and warns the fighters, so they unite the Dai-X Junction and destroy the Missile base ground defenses. They locate the entrance to the underground prison and enter in spacesuits, finding Lamia and shooting her restraints off. As they leave, Earth tremors start to rock the planet, a nuclear reaction caused by their attack on the missiles; a nuclear explosion is imminent.

Meanwhile, Makara's ship has entered the Allurian star cluster in pursuit of X-Bomber, confused by her stillness. X-Bomber moves to a wider orbit to avoid damage as the pilots struggle to escape with Lamia. Makara's ship detects Dai-X launch, but are caught in the nuclear explosion, limping clear of the planet before the full explosion. Lamia is taken to X-Bomber's sickbay to begin her recovery, as Shiro and Hercules tease Lee's cowardly reaction to the Earthquake.
