Plot Summary

XBomberCrewpatch Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

After their encounter, Lamia is thinking of Halley, who contacts her telepathically for the first time. Kirara punches the alarm button, and Shiro responds. Shiro, however dismisses this as shock on Lamia's part, despite her insistence that she really is hearing Halley. Meanwhile, Makara and Orion believe to have tracked the course of the Skull, realizing that X-Bomber is on the same course, they come to the conclusion that they are on course for the Planet Callinean.

Back on X-Bomber, Hercules argues about their course being set to a planet that, as he puts it, "may only exist in a girls delirium". Lee, Shiro and Dr. Benn realize that Lamia has undergone a major change. Lamia enters the bridge, saying she detects an Imperial Alliance warship heading towards X-Bomber. Hercules thinks everyone has gone crazy, and refuses to listen to Lamia, storming out of the bridge. PPA is able to confirm Lamia's visions.

Lamia finds Hercules in the conference room, and tells him that the alliance is heading for them. As Hercules demands Lamia to tell him what the Alliance wants, when the Alliance astrofighters open fire, knocking out Lamia. Kirara takes her back to her room, as Hercules tries to return to duty.

Under heavy fire, the fighters manage to punch a hole in X-Bomber's hull, resulting in a loss of atmosphere and the failure of X-Bomber's life support system. The crew all start to suffocate, Lee manages to tell PPA to switch life support to auxiliary systems, but they've failed too - PPA sets off to fix it as the bridge crew lose consciousness. Orion realizes X-Bomber is in distress and circles the ship. Hercules is still on his feet, and manages to free PPA from metal debris before passing out.

Lamia regains consciousness, and is unaffected by the lack of oxygen. She gets to the bridge and contacts Halley telepathically, asking him to guide her to a planet with a breathable atmosphere. He tells her to land X-Bomber on the planet Morphane, though he cannot be of assistance to her. Makara watches as X-Bomber changes course, and realizes that Lamia is piloting the ship, showing her new-found powers of F-01.

Lamia safely lands X-Bomber on the Planet Morphane. As she attempts to wake up Shiro, Makara appears on screen demanding the Lamia surrenders, as there is no one left to fight. Lamia attempts to surrender herself to Makara, but PPA intercepts her, demanding that she help the crew first. Makara orders Orion to return with his ships as the Skull hasn't turned up. Makara, once again, orders Lamia surrender. Dr. Benn momentarily regains consciousness, telling her not to give herself up, making their efforts in vein. As Orion arrives, he suggest that they attack the X-Bomber and take Lamia by force, to which Makara agrees.

The fighters begin barraging the defenseless X-Bomber with laser attack. Taking Dr. Benn's words, Lamia now refuses to give herself to the Alliance, and mans the turrets, asking PPA to get Lamia to take the left turret as she takes the right. Lamia and Kirara manage to destroy several of the Imperial Fighter Ships with help from PPA. Angered by this, Makara recalls the Imperial Fighters and instead sends out a ground assault to penetrate X-Bomber on the planets surface.

Orion's carriers teleport armored personnel vehicles onto the surface. Lamia and Kirara attempt to assault their vehicles with the turrets, but due to their limited range are unable to take them all out. One of the vehicles manage to get under their arc of fire, and begin to burn through the X-Bomber's hull with a laser torch. PPA manages to wake up Shiro and Hercules, and warns them of the situation as the Imperial Troops board the crippled X-Bomber.
